At least 70% of people who use a computer and other digital devices during their work day (e.g. tablets and smartphones) experience eye and vision symptoms, known as Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS), or Digital Eyestrain. This can result in job fatigue and affect work performance and efficiency.
I provide ergonomic assessments and solutions, most effectively achieved with in-clinic testing of the function of the eyes, and on-site workplace evaluation. The on-site assessment allows an accurate evaluation of all factors in a person’s own work environment that can contribute to vision and physical symptoms, which typically cannot be replicated in the controlled setting of an eye examination room. Resolving symptoms associated with CVS has been shown to result in as much as a 20% increase in productivity.
